Couponing The Basics
One of the first questions we always get is "where do you find all of those coupons?"
There are lots of places and you would be surprised at how quickly your stack builds up. Take a look below to learn how to build your stack:

If You Do Not Recieve an Insert:
First, call the paper. It's good for them to know if it's not getting delivered.
PLEASE, don't buy the insert on Ebay or Kijiji!!! In our humble opinion, this promotes dishonesty (selling something that says 'not to be sold' is not a business)
Ask people to collect inserts for you or swap with you.
Tear Pads
Tearpads usually come out in cycles. Watch the forums and our posts to get ready for the next set. Once they come out, get to the stores and grab a few of each kind.
Please do not take the whole pad, it really discourages others when they can't find any and it gives couponers a bad name.
Note: Some tearpads look the same but have different bar codes which means the coupons can be stacked... watch your barcodes carefully to maximize your savings potential!
Manufacturers
You would be shocked at how easy it is to get a few coupons in the mail just by sending an email to the manufacturer. Pick you favorite brands and tell them that you love the product and would like some coupons to use more. Or tell them that you haven’t used their product and would like to try it for the first time. We once received 7 $1 coupons for ANY Colgate/Palmolive product just by sending a simple email.

Don't add new coupons often but you can find some great coupons here
Get them fast or they'll be gone
Not usually good for stacking

Usually allows you to print one or two of each coupon
Watch for short expiry dates
Coupon Swapping
You can find organized coupon swaps that people have set up or you can arrange to swap coupons with an individual privately if you both have something the other person wants.
Coupon Trains
Some people hoose to be involved in coupon trains. This is where you get a bunch of coupons, take some that you want, replace them with other coupons ans send the package to the next person in the train. All trains have different rules so be sure to clarify them before you get on-board!
Family & Friends
Ask people you know to watch for coupons and inserts for you. Most people don't mind and when you give them a shampoo or bodywash that you got for free, you'll have a loyal coupon collector on your team!
